ELECTRIC WALLCHARGER UX/UI — 2013
The Wallbox Pro was a roller coaster ride of a project. It had a tight time table (approximately 300 hrs for design to delivery of production assets). The scope expanded from an initial design of 20 screens to 90+, in addition there were changes in branding strategy half way through which required a reworking of designs. The last and greatest challenge was to maintain quality of screen designs with hardware that was designed for working in factory production environments. Graphic fidelity, the dynamic range and font options of the hardware were limited, and was something that needed to be wrangled throughout the design and delivery stages. Even with the challenges this was quite a fulfilling project, we had a great team of engineers, developers and project managers, and our designs could never have been realized without the collaboration and support of everyone involved.
